Task Switching

A pair of characters will appear in one of four positions around the center of the screen. The position moves clockwise from one trial to the next.

When the pair is in one of the top two positions, judge the letter:
press D for a consonant, J for a vowel.

When the pair is in one of the bottom two positions, judge the number:
press D for an even number, J for an odd number.

Use both hands: left index finger on D, right index finger on J.

Respond as quickly and as accurately as possible.
